General Information: Under the direction of the COO, the Preschool Director will develop, organize and implement a high quality YMCA Preschool program, meeting licensing requirements and educational standards. Will oversee staff and school curriculum, ensuring the facility is maintained, managing the budget and working closely with parents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages, directs and coordinates the preschool program for assigned location. Ensures high quality programs and establishes new program activities. Expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
• Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.

• Organizes special events for parents. Assists in YMCA fund raising activities.
• Compiles program statistics. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program.

Salary $43,000-$47,000, commensurate with experience. General Information: The Family Engagement Specialist is responsible for building relationships and integrating parent and family engagement strategies into program services in order to support family well-being and promote children's learning and development. Primary Responsibilities:

• Documents all efforts to assist families, tracks family partnership efforts and outcomes, records, monitors and follows up on referrals, and submits reports as required.
• Actively seeks out new community partnerships based on the needs and wants of community members.
• Collaborates with Y staff for onsite activities (i.e. Boo Bash, Healthy Kids Days, Neighbor to Neighbor Christmas program) to bring awareness and encourage involvement.
• Attends all workshops and meetings as deemed necessary by the supervisor
• Maintains strict confidentiality at all times with respect to children, families and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures, including the ability to recognize situations in which confidentiality is required.
• Provides backup classroom coverage for preschool.
