VPK Program Changes
If you have any changes to your VPK program such as staffing, calendar, or schedule please complete, sign and submit another VPK-11 form to Jenifer Caccia at the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County. This form will replace any other previously submitted VPK-11.
VPK Teacher Changes
Please submit the following information when requesting a change in VPK teacher(s):
Background Screening
- FBI Letter
- FDLE Report
- Local Screening
- Affidavit of Good Moral Character
Educational Credential
- Lead Teacher: CDA Certificate or Diploma for AA, AS, BA, BS
- Assistant Teacher: High School Diploma/GED or higher
5.0-Hour Literacy Training
- Required for Lead teachers who meet requirements with a CDA only
Schedule Changes
- If you are reporting changes to your VPK schedule the total number of hours for a school year session must equal 540 and 300 for a summer session.
- Calendar changes are not permitted once a VPK program has started. Exceptions may be made for emergency circumstances at the discretion of the Early Learning Coalition.
- School year sessions must end on or before the last day of the Pinellas County School year and summer sessions must end before the start of the Pinellas County School year.
Director/Owner Changes
- If you have a change in director, please submit a revised AWI VPK10 with the appropriate director credential documentation.
- If the previous Owner signed the VPK20 Provider Agreement, a new one is required.
- If the previous Director signed the VPK agreement a new one is not required.
Other
Use this section to report any changes to your VPK program that do not fit into the above categories.
