Core Knowledge Areas

*Attention School Readiness Providers*

Your signed School Readiness Agreement states that you must attend trainings that fall in at least four of the seven Core Knowledge Areas.  In order for providers to track this information more efficiently, the Coalition has added the Core Knowledge Area to training certificates.

Reminder: Due to liability reasons, children may not attend trainings.

STEP UP Scholarships

Congratulations to all the students who received STEP UP Scholarships to attend the Early Childhood Program at St. Petersburg College! Each session the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas awards scholarships for students actively seeking an AS degree in Early Childhood. In spite of limited funding and budget cuts, the ELC is committed to supporting the scholarship program.

Reminder: If you or anyone you know has recently received a college degree (A.S. or B.S. in Early Childhood), please let us know so that we can recognize them in our newsletter.
