Executive Committee

The Executive Committee oversees routine operations of the Coalition and acts on behalf of the Coalition, during on-demand activities that occur between regular meetings of the full Board of Directors.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for the review and oversight of the financial operations of the Coalition and monitor the compliance of the Coalition operations with applicable Florida and Federal laws as well as in compliance with policies and procedures governing agencies and industry accounting standards where applicable.

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee is an independent committee responsible for ensuring that the operations of the coalition are in compliance with applicable Florida and Federal law, regulations and rules as well as in compliance with policies and procedures of the applicable governing agencies. The Audit Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Coalition has adequate internal controls, and oversees the independent audit function of the Coalition.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee oversees the public awareness and match funding development strategies of the board of directors.

Program Development Committee

The Program Development Committee oversees the development and implementation of the Coalition Plan, program activities & performance, along with service delivery changes.

Board Development Committee

The Board Development Committee develops procedures and policies, ensures committee structure and roles, including member recruitment, nominating, board development and orientation. This committee will review and revise the Coalition Bylaws, at least annually, or as needed to maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and state and federal regulations. Additionally, the committee will work to enhance public awareness of the Coalition and its mission.

Advancement Committee

The Advancement Committee will seek opportunities to support school readiness by expanding and enhancing early learning programs.  There are multiple exisiting gaps in service related to both access and the quality of early learning in Pinellas County.
